    Earth Day, April 22, 2009 :: Will You Turn Off Your Electrical Power For 1 Hour Today To Help Save Our Planet Earth and Why?

    April 22, 2009, Earth Day is a day we all want to share to help save our planet worldwide together. We have been writting about ‘The Green Buzz’ going solar power and the benefits and most are responding ver well to new adjusment. We need to do more. Now the time to act.

    Just shutting off all our electricity today for 1 hour is a powerful way to save our planet earth. Right now most of us live off the carbon footprint, (reason we all should go solar and wind power), which is, bring havoc on our environment for Global Warming.

    Why The Problem?

    Raise awareness about climate change and the threat from rising greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.

    What Can We Do About This?

    Simply turn off the lights and the problem goes away. Of course, getting folks to break their addiction is much easier said than done… as many people actually fear the dark.

    Night sky friendly outdoor lights put all of their light output on the ground… with none shining directly up into the night sky causing sky glow… or thoughtlessly across property lines in the form of light trespass. What a concept, huh? Put the light where its needed… and nowhere else.

    • You’ll help to reduce light pollution… and save a few bucks in the process or go solar and wind power.
    The night is a wonderful, magical time full of beauty and mystery. Star-filled skies are part of our heritage. With just a small effort, we can reap huge rewards. Turn off your electric power for 1 hour today will save you money and our plant earth. Go ahead you be glad you did! :D

    @ Avri, thats a good question. No exact time caculated. Anytime today! :D
