New Internet Laws For 2010: The First Effects of France New Law against Internet Illegal Downloading

However, this new bill that was passed in France was not easy it came up with big teeth and bitter opposition from groups opposed to the Internet restrictions.
What Will Happen to Illegal Downloaders?
The first thing that will happen to illegal downloaders they will be sent to warning e-mail, after that a letter if they still continue, and finally they must appear before a judge if the offending again.
When sent to court the judge could impose a fine, or even suspend their access to the Internet.
The creation and Internet deals set up for new state agency the higher authority for the distribution of works and the protection of the copyright on the Internet.
The law is backed by Pres. Nicholas Sarkozy is key and the entertainment industry.
Taking the lead For Other Countries to Follow This Law
Supporters of this new model for this Law and four other countries around the world want to protect their creative industries and make it clear to the ordinary web user not to not everything is for free.
We all use the Internet on everyday bases, we look up information, we find maps, we find websites, we socialize and communities online, and we purchase commodities. The Internet needs rules to protect the laws and the creativity of the industry’s that are supposed to back up the laws and understand that some things are not free.
As the explosion for more cinema, music and video games in the future, and along with virtual games there will be needed even more protection to brag to protect those creators and industries.
Many Are against This Law
As his controversial debate becomes more and more ever-growing, this law has many opponents against it, the large growing attitude is growing over his farce technology and who has the right to take over that technology. Moreover, downloaders simply sidestep this process.
On the other side of the coin, many supporters say, “it’s long overdue and necessary.”
For the supporters of this law they just want to remind us of our citizens to be law-abiding and take responsibility for the Internet and protect the creative industries and their rights. The Internet is not all free.
